A few weekends ago the Bakker's came over to watch the Hawks. They asked if we could CC could hang out for a bit while they did some work on their new and old house. They kiddos all went down for their naps... woke-up and had lunch.... then had a dance party! It was so fun!

Bringing in 2011

Carts washing his hands... they love that stool!

My little guy.
Quinn in her thoughtful moment look.

They are really into cereal these days.

Hey! What's up Mom!

This was during our dance party with our special guest singer, Laurie Berkner. We did some serious booty shaking!

Niels and his "whiteboard man"... this Picasso.

Again... Niels and his new BFF.

Sweet baby Jack.
Momma Jana and her little guy, Jack.

Long story... Shane and Ken.

Last two standing...

For New Year's Eve we celebrated at the Bakker's new house with the Bakkers and the Wilsons. We all hung out, then the kiddos went to bed, we had a yummy seafood dinner and then played "Whiteboard Man" Pictionary (or something like that); Niels is an addict! It was super fun, low key and a great way to spend New Year's Eve... with good friends!

I've also included some fun pic's of the kiddos; dance party (w/ Laurie Berkner), using the new step stool and just hanging out.

May 2011 be wonderful and full of positive energy for all of our family, friends, us and the world!

Christmas 2010

(out of order)... Quinn sitting by Santas's cookies, milk and letters from her and her brother.

Santa sneaking in the back...

Smile!

Waiting and waiting and waiting in line.

Shane with a new Thomas the Train hat!

Quinn opening an Olivia book! She loves Olivia the pig.

After Santa's visit...

This year was a bit different as Q&C were in to Santa, the tree, the lights, the candy canes and everything else. Glamma G and Papa G were staying with us for the Holidays this year, as they are now permanently residing in Eastern Washington. So we had a full house.

We made our traditional visit to the Nordstrom Santa this year... Carter was a big ham, while dancing, handing out "high 5's" and loving it all, where as Quinn was not too keen on the big man himself. Actually there was this kinda scary lady that was working with Santa (think "Christmas Story" when Ralphy and his brother went to visit Santa) and Quinn took one look at her and lost it. We haven't got the official photos yet, but you will see that we had to improvise.

Christmas Eve we visited Carol and Amber at the Jarr's house, had a beverage and some holiday snacks and wished them a Merry Christmas, then we headed home and had a wonderful prime rib and crab feast (prepared by Chef Papa Tom, with Sous Chef, Glamma Wendy) with the Gannon family and Aunt Nanny B! It was so fun! Quinn and Carter left a plate of cookies and a glass of milk for Santa and then headed to bed.

Christmas morning was wonderful... with presents, family and a yummy breakfast! We then headed to my parents house for Christmas cheer and dinner. We ended all of our Christmas festivities by heading to Seattle for the annual Jarr Christmas party... it was a small, intimate group of good peeps, amazing food (as usual, Bry) and holiday cheer!

2010 was a great Christmas, minus the stomach bug (vomit and diarrhea, which I don't want to get into) and next year will be even more adventurous, I'm sure.

So was Quinn...
About to walk the beam.
A future gymnast!

Alice getting ready to launch!

Carts goes down the big slide!

Carts "stuck" in the blue foam pool!

Uncle BJ had a good idea... put the kids in the box and scoot them around - Quinn loved it!

Quinn with her new baby doll, "Baby Jane".

Quinn feeding her new baby... she loves that doll. She even put "baby Jane's" bottle in the frig!

Cute Carter.

Yep, the twins are TWO! We celebrated their birthday with family and friends. It was a wonderful day and weekend. We also celebrated Alice's third B-day (the twins share the same b-day with Alice)... we went to Seattle Gymnastics Academy and had SO much fun! Happy Birthday to our wonderful kiddos!

Halloween

The three amigos... "Bob the Builder", Ladybug and Butterfly.

Mom and Carts.
Tired, not feeling well, Bob!

Beautiful butterfly!

I didn't know ladybugs like chocolate! ;)

"I'll get you my pretty... cackle, cackle". AKA Hel dressed up!

We were planning on hitting up Queen Anne this year with the Watson's and the Bakkers, but the whole Gannon fam had nasty colds, so we stuck close to home and hit up the Edmonds "Trick or Treat". The city shuts down the majority of Main Street and some of 5th Street and participating business hand out candy. It was fun, but SUPER packed. Quinn was our little butterfly and Carter was "Bob the Builder" (originally he was supposed to be a robot, but refused to wear it). Oh well, he still looked cute! Camden was a ladybug !

Double Trouble

It was a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon... Shane was running some errands, I was doing some vacuuming around the house, El and Ziggy were lounging and Q&C were in their room reading books, playing with their animals and making a mess, so Mom thought!

Early that day, Shane and I tackled, what I literally think could have been the largest mountain of clothes and folded them all nice and tidy. Well, while I was vacuuming... a thought came into my head... I hadn't seen either Q or C poke their head out or yell. It made me very suspicious... for good reasons. They found the laundry piles and somehow got on to our fairly high bed. Double trouble!!!
