One... TWO!!! and THREE!
Carter was quite the climber, runner and jumper...
So was Quinn...
About to walk the beam.
A future gymnast!
Uncle Niels showing off... pretty good, for an old guy. ;)
Kathy after doing a cannonball into the pool of blue foam!
Alice getting ready to launch!
Carts goes down the big slide!
Carts "stuck" in the blue foam pool!
Uncle BJ had a good idea... put the kids in the box and scoot them around - Quinn loved it!
Quinn with her new baby doll, "Baby Jane".
Quinn feeding her new baby... she loves that doll. She even put "baby Jane's" bottle in the frig!
Cute Carter.
Yep, the twins are TWO! We celebrated their birthday with family and friends. It was a wonderful day and weekend. We also celebrated Alice's third B-day (the twins share the same b-day with Alice)... we went to Seattle Gymnastics Academy and had SO much fun! Happy Birthday to our wonderful kiddos!

Halloween
The three amigos... "Bob the Builder", Ladybug and Butterfly.
Mom and Carts.
Tired, not feeling well, Bob!
Beautiful butterfly!
I didn't know ladybugs like chocolate! ;)
"I'll get you my pretty... cackle, cackle". AKA Hel dressed up!
We were planning on hitting up Queen Anne this year with the Watson's and the Bakkers, but the whole Gannon fam had nasty colds, so we stuck close to home and hit up the Edmonds "Trick or Treat". The city shuts down the majority of Main Street and some of 5th Street and participating business hand out candy. It was fun, but SUPER packed. Quinn was our little butterfly and Carter was "Bob the Builder" (originally he was supposed to be a robot, but refused to wear it). Oh well, he still looked cute! Camden was a ladybug !
Double Trouble
It was a nice relaxing Sunday afternoon... Shane was running some errands, I was doing some vacuuming around the house, El and Ziggy were lounging and Q&C were in their room reading books, playing with their animals and making a mess, so Mom thought!
Early that day, Shane and I tackled, what I literally think could have been the largest mountain of clothes and folded them all nice and tidy. Well, while I was vacuuming... a thought came into my head... I hadn't seen either Q or C poke their head out or yell. It made me very suspicious... for good reasons. They found the laundry piles and somehow got on to our fairly high bed. Double trouble!!!

Hawaii 2010
≈
≈
Early September we were very fortunate to be able to go to Kauai to be present for Brady & Illeana's wedding, as well as enjoy our first big vacation with the whole family (Gannon's) and our dear friends.
Unfortunately our trip didn't start out on a good note. The night before we were supposed to leave for our trip, Quinn had a temp of 105 and took a trip to her Pediatrician who then sent us to the ER at Children's (at this point her white blood count was 33, the norm is 11 to 14). At the hospital, Quinn had a few "tests" done; chest x-ray, urine test, nasal swabs and multiple checks on her temp, ears, chest, eyes, etc, as well as an IV to give her fluid and some medication (that was interesting in its own self; she wanted that thing off!). Long story short, our poor Quinn was admitted to spend the night... by the time we got a room, it was around 1:30 am and she was DONE! I saw a side of my daughter that I never saw and it was scary... she was so exhausted and WAY overtired that she would literally open her eyes so huge and scream at the top of her lungs and just sob. It was not fun and I wanted all the nurse's to just leave her alone, but knew that they were just doing there job and trying to help her. Another scary aspect to this adventure, was that the hematology team came into her room and started asking us about our family history and blood cancer. We were a mess, no other way to explain it and it was obvious that we were not going to get on a plane to go to Hawaii. The next day they finally had a verdict for what was wrong with her... she had contracted Adenovirus. After much stress, lack of sleep, confusion and a lot of prayers, she was discharged.
The next day she had a follow-up appointment with her Pediatrician and he said she was responding well and that we had the green light to fly. So, with much excitement we got all of our travel plans rearranged and headed to the airport (via Miggie Keuler... thank you, Miggie and Andrea for getting us there!). Being our first time traveling with the twins and Quinn still on the mend, we were a bit nervous, but just went with it. The flight was okay... the twins had their good moments and their not-so-good moments and we made it work. However, Quinn started to go down hill... she started sneezing like crazy, getting watery eyes and snot that wouldn't stop. Basically she was now going through the "cold" part of the virus, which we did not know would happen. The virus did eventually run it's course and she did have a great time on the island, but the virus did hit Carter (barely), Mom, Dad, Glamma and Poppa. :) Woo-Hoo!
In the end we made it to beautiful Kauai and we were able to be there for Brady and Illeana's amazing wedding. It was perfect and we enjoyed seeing them so happy and in love. Love you B & Illi.
Enjoy the pic's (the good and the bad!). ;)
