Dang it's HOT!

Us NW folks aren't used to this heat so we have moved eating time to the backyard the past few days as the house is incredibly stuffy and hot. The twinnies have enjoyed it as they see and hear so many things, which can make for a very messy meal time because they are so distracted. We also strip them down to their diapers in the evenings when we get home from work. Poor kids are so sweaty.

Cute Hat!

Glamma and Grandpa Gannon bought the cutest hat for Ms. Quinn. Here she is modeling it with Glamma.

Adventures at Glamma & Grandpa Gannon's

Glamma & Grandpa Gannon so graciously watch the kids three days a week and Glamma has been awesome about taking pictures of their adventures, whether it be outings to the park, to the beach or just hanging out at their house. Some of these pictures are a bit old (like a few months), but most are recent and oh so funny!

Carter takes a stand!

Not only is Carter crawling, but he is also standing! We had to lower his crib to the lowest level possible last Thursday as he was about to jump, or shall I say fall out of his crib while showing off his latest act. Here are some pictures of him this morning as he anxiously awaits for his breakfast.

4th of July

Happy 4th of July! The twinnies did great with all the action... we went to Bryan and Amber's house for the day and enjoyed some time with good friends. We brought a pack'n'play for the kids to sleep in and to hang out in when they weren't sleeping as Carter is officially on the move now, although they ended up hanging out on a blanket with all their toys the whole time. They were able to hang out with their buddy Alice and see alot of their Aunites and Uncles. We also walked down to a block party, which seemed more like a fraternity party (mechanical bull, slip'n slide, tug of war and madness). The main reason we went down to the block party was to visit Uncle Bry, as he was working hard at the Tako Truk... they had an awesome set-up and kept busy. We then headed home and got the kids to bed (fireworks never woke them up during the night... love it!). Here are some pictures of them sporting their 4th of July tie-dyed onsies, made for them by their sweet Nanny Rachel.

Wow, how they grow FAST!

Q&C are almost 8 months now and they are really growing up fast. Quinn has her third tooth coming in and prefers to use the roll method to move around and is super chatty! Mr. Carter is now crawling on all fours, yes I said crawling, starting to pull himself up to stand (some one needs to babyproof this joint!) and super chatty too. They both say "dadadada" and are very intersted in Ellie Girl, who is amazing with the kids. As well as starting to have more solids and being introduced to the "free for all" eating approach in their highchairs (they weren't that in to it, so we will try again in a few weeks). Everyday Shane and I come home from work, they amaze us and fill us with so much love and laughter and it is funny to hear the daily stories from Nanny Rachel, Grandma Seguin and Glamma.
